channa dal - 1/2 cup
toor dal- 1/4 cup
moong dal - 1/8 cup

cumin seeds - 3/4 tbspn
garlic- 2 small pieces,
salt- 1tbspn

Soak the dal for around 1hour. then grind the dal with less water so that it should not be grounded so nicely. Few dal not grinded properly doesnt matter.
Then add finely chopped onion to the mixture . Can add banana flower petals chopped if wanted.
then finally add fresh cilantro to the mixture.
Now you're ready to make a super tasty vadai in the oil by frying on both sides. Be careful that u don't burn it.

Chappathis
Ingredients
------------
Atta Flour - 2 1/2 cups (around 12 chappathis)
Salt - 1 tbspn
Oil - 3 tbspn
Warm water - as reqd. - (approx. 11/2 cup)
Method
--------
Flour preparation is the most important step as the chappathi softness depends on how we make our dough.
Mix warm water and salt over the flour with constant stirring.
While stirring , you'll note @ a point that the dough is kind of forming.
Note that it shouldn't be sticky with more water or flour without water.
Squeeze and mix well that it's been finely prepared with mixing thoroughly.
After getting dough let the oil over the dough and let it stand for an hour or so.
Then make some small lemon-size balls - make them flat using some flour(to avoid sticking).
Put in pan .After it's cookd a little- turn other side n then only pour little oil and cook well.
Hot chappathi or rotis are ready!
